Emma Watson is not only known for her achievements in film and acting, but with school as well. Watson studied at Brown University and in May 2014, she graduated with a bachelor's degree in English literature. It took her five years to complete because she took a year off due to acting work. The actress wanted to continued with her studies, therefore she had to balance out school with her work in film. She also applied and attended Worcester College, in Oxford for her third year. After, Watson returned to the Ivy League School Brown University to complete her final year.
During the earlier shooting of Harry Potter, Emma Watson still continued school work with five hours of tutoring everyday. When she wasn't having tutoring lessons on set, Emma attended Headington School, in Oxford. The actress continued and wanted to pursue this course of action, attending highschool as well. She explained how her father wanted her to have the best education possible, and that is so important to her. Furthermore, when the time came, Watson took the equivalent of high school exams and kept high grades in all areas.

Being a renown actress and celebrity, it was difficult to go unnoticed. In her previous school in Oxford (Headington), other students were not allowed to ask for autographs from Watson, otherwise they would receive penalty points. Only those who were aqquainted or friends with Emma would speak with her. The actress also more recently described her experience entering university. "'On the first day, I walked into the canteen and everyone went completely silent and turned to look at me. I had to say to myself, 'It's okay, you can do this. You just have to take a deep breath and gather your courage.'" (Johnson, 2014)
Despite the obstacles Watson encountered, she managed continue her education for the whole of her career. Emma Watson successfully managed to graduate from Brown University with a degree in English literature and complete the filming of the Harry Potter movies in the process. Emma Watson is now recognized not only for her successful film work, but also for her dedication when it came to schooling and education.
